Joseph Twomey is a Ph.D. student in Economics at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where he also serves as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Economics. His research interests include international trade, public policy, and development economics. He has published two policy-relevant academic articles in the fields of pharmaceutical economics and the economics of higher education. He intends to pursue a career in academic research and teaching while contributing to evidence-based economic policy.
